ABSTRACT

This talk will first give a broad overview of privacy issues in ICT, from the perspective that ‘architecture is politics’ (Mitch Kapor, former EFF chairman). Subsequently, some more concrete ICT projects are discussed, with a focus on the embedded systems involved, like smart electricity metering and road pricing.
